Description
РЛНД disconnectors rated for 10 kV are intended for general use in high-voltage networks and outdoor substations operating on AC at a frequency of 50 Hz, for network sectionalising and disconnecting consumers with no load current, creating a visible isolation gap in the line.
РЛНД disconnector construction
The РЛНД disconnector is a two-pole or three-pole horizontal-rotating device. Each pole has one rotating and one fixed insulator supporting the contact system.
The disconnector consists of a frame, movable insulator columns, fixed insulator columns, a current-carrying system and an earthing circuit.
The frame is welded. Movable insulators are attached to one side of the frame and fixed insulators to the other.
Contact blades with a current-carrying system made of copper or brass are installed on the upper flanges of the disconnector insulators
The contact blades of the movable columns, which are the main disconnector blades, disconnect consumers under no-load conditions and create a visible break. Each blade consists of two parallel contact strips with a conductive plate between them. The plate is connected to the disconnector terminal by a flexible copper-strip connection.
Each fixed-column blade is a copper or brass busbar that also serves as the disconnector terminal.
The earthing blades are made of flat steel and welded to an earthing shaft connected to the frame by flexible copper-strip connections.
The earthing contacts are located on the main blades.
Disconnectors can be supplied with a set of steel structures for mounting on a СВ-110-35 reinforced concrete pole using connecting elements that completely eliminate welding during installation of the disconnector-and-drive assembly.
Disconnectors using polymer insulators offer increased reliability under severe operating conditions.
УХЛ1-version disconnectors have additional protective covers on the main contact blades.
Purpose
The disconnector is a switching device whose main circuit is closed and opened by rotating the main contacts in a horizontal plane.
The separable connections of the main and earthing circuits use lamellar contacts with spring-generated contact pressure.
In two-pole and three-pole disconnectors, the pole design and connection method ensure that the main circuit or earthing-blade circuit is closed or opened simultaneously on all poles.
The main and earthing blades are operated by turning the corresponding drive handles.
When closing or opening the main and earthing blades, the corresponding drive handle with a shaped disc is turned as far as the rotation stop. The stop limits the handle rotation to an angle sufficient to fully close or open the main and earthing blades of the disconnector.
