History of the enterprise
History of OJSC Raton since 1970: from the RTO plant to a modern manufacturer of electrical equipment.
Open Joint Stock Company "Raton" is located in the northern industrial part of Gomel - the second largest city in the Republic of Belarus.
Key milestones
1970
Commissioning of the RTO plant
The first-born of radio engineering in Belarus. Production of automated workstations based on mini-computers for defense needs.
1974
Special design bureau
A new structural unit has been created at the enterprise - SKB.
1992
NPO "Raton"
On the basis of the RTO and SKB plant, the Raton Research and Production Association was created.
1996
State Prize RB
For the development of a line for bending spherical blanks for automobile mirrors.
1998
SEZ "Gomel-Raton"
A free economic zone has been created. Production of medium voltage electrical equipment for substations has begun.
2007
ISO 9001
The company has implemented a quality management system.
2009
JSC "Raton"
RNPUP "Raton" was transformed into an open joint-stock company.
2012–2014
As part of the MEZ holding
The enterprise became part of the association and holding JSC Minsk Electrotechnical Plant named after. V. I. Kozlova.”
2018
Upgrade and export
Optimization of processes, technical re-equipment, expansion of the range and entry into new markets.
2019–2020
New product lines
KRU for 35 kV, boilers of the KOS-EE series, KSO/RTN-S chambers, pellet boiler KOS-TVA-36 kW.
2021
Reorganization
Decision on the merger of JSC Gomel Measuring Instruments Plant with JSC Raton.
Today Raton is a diversified enterprise with modern equipment: Amada jig and press brake, PIRCE gas plasma cutting complex, Gesipa, Bosch, Weidmüller tools.
