ЩЭ Floor Distribution Board

ЩЭ distribution and metering cabinets are designed to receive, distribute and meter electricity and protect outgoing circuits against overloads and short circuits.

ЩЭ cabinets are used in apartment blocks and public buildings.

ЩЭ cabinets are used in 380/220V AC networks at a frequency of 50 Hz with TN-C, TN-S or TN-C-S earthing systems.

GENERAL INFORMATION

ЩЭ distribution and metering cabinets consist of a metal frame divided into 3 compartments:

An incoming and metering compartment containing electricity meter panels corresponding to the number of apartments. The removable mounting frame allows any type of single-phase meter to be installed without additional adapters. This compartment also provides space for a circuit breaker to disconnect the main feeder.

A distribution compartment containing DIN rails for circuit breakers and residual-current devices that protect the branch circuits of each apartment. For the electrical safety of maintenance personnel, the compartment has an operating panel (blanking panel) that can only be removed using a special tool.
A low-current equipment compartment containing perforated profiles for routing television and radio networks, telephone lines, fire and intruder alarm lines, intercom and video surveillance networks and similar systems, and for installing junction or branch boxes for each network.

Each compartment is closed by a separate door with its own lock. The incoming and metering compartment door has glazed openings for reading electricity meters.

The floor distribution board contains a protective neutral busbar РЕ electrically connected to the exposed conductive parts of the ЩЭ and working neutral busbars N insulated from those parts.

ЩЭ boards are available in three versions according to the number of apartments supplied:

• for two apartments — ЩЭ2;
• for three apartments — ЩЭ3;
• for four apartments — ЩЭ4.
